What ever the model of Manny's vehicle, it must run on the tears of his vanguished foes. Crying

Close...it is a flex-fuel car, so it can either run on the tears of my vanquished foes OR the tears of my conquered HO's...

Obviously Manny was on the take, and is receiving a little something extra for his help in the "iron ore from a neutral nation" scheme during the war...

If you look carefully, you'll see Manny wandering thru the lobby of the Grand Hôtel Stockholm in the movie "The Counterfeit Traitor".

The T28 was an experimental model and the US Army only built two. I wasn't able to find any mention of a model with a web search over lunch but maybe I didn't look hard enough. I've a few photos I took of the T28 when I was there, I'll see if I can dig them up and post them tomorrow.

(personalized plates too) Note the generous use of non-slip gelb, just to make sure there is no chance of you running up over the curb. Again. Big Smile

Of course he has personalized plates- what would you expect of a class act like Manny?

BTW: Forgot that our club posted my Patton museum photos on it's website so I don't have to post the photos of the M28. And yes the goofy looking werdo in the leather jacket posing with the M28 is me.

For some reason I can't link directly to the photos so you'll have to go:

http://www.rvipms.com/

Click on Galleries

Then Club Meetings and Events

Then 2003

Scroll down to Road Trips

Click Oct 22, 2003 Cliff's Photos of the George S. Patton Museum Fort Knox KY

Sorry, no idea why I can't direct link the photo gallery

The M28 photos are in the 7th row from the top.
