Thanks Tony...have to agree with you that the GBs tend to draw a lot of builds/projects away from the main forum and the attention of the larger group as a result...one of the chief drawbacks to GBs IMHO and one of the main reasons why I don't participate in them regularly. This time around though I used it for motivation to keep working on a particular project while I adjusted to my MBA program work requirements. I think I've found the right balance point and once this build is done, will return to my regularly scheduled build thread activity here in the Armor forum, never fear!

Figure looks great...wish I could send you some of our weather to help you finish things up...it's 66 degrees and sunny and supposed to hit the low 70s tomorrow and Sunday...hard to believe it in January even for our corner of the desert!

Love the result!!!   Nice work on the figure too.  By adding a figure, it helps us realize how tiny the space was behind the gun.  Happy to see it cross the finish line.  Now somebody please update the Marder Madness Hall of Fame?

Worth the wait to see this one get finished Tony. Very nice work all around, hard to believe it started out as the Alan kit...you've definitely turned it into a real gem.

Like you I'm hoping the games today are good ones...would love to see my 'Niners go to the Super Bowl...I've been very patient throughout the last decade-plus!

In my mad rush to get it done so I would have NFL TV time today I forgot to add oil seepage on some of the hubs,gluing the sprockets on the shafts when I put the tracks back on and I left the antenna off.

I know the feeling Tony.....same here. Time just gets away from me, and the next thing I know, it's been months since I posted on FSM. Spent a lot of the summer and fall building kits, and promptly putting them in my cabinet, unfinished. I've got a backlog of about 15 kits that are built, but not painted. Gotta try and buckle down, and finish some of them before starting something else. It's hard with so many NICE kits in my stash!

Looking forward to seeing your Marder Hotchkiss when it's done.

Thanks for sharing this Tony and for the words of encouragement. I'm sure Alans work a lot easier on a bench. I used to do all my models sitting in the floor. I can't wait to get on this one after I get a few of these others cleared out of the way.
