Wow Tony she really looks beautiful, congrats on another great build, excellent.
Terry.
Love the result!!! Nice work on the figure too. By adding a figure, it helps us realize how tiny the space was behind the gun. Happy to see it cross the finish line. Now somebody please update the Marder Madness Hall of Fame?
Looking forward to see your magic work on the Brummar next...
Andy
It's on to finish my Brummbar now

Nice figgy......
and stop complaining.....it's 20 deg here and we are getting snow......and Bill, be quiet, enough I have to hear it from my daughter in Florida, now I have to hear the good weather in TX from the virtual world.....
I have to go.....the brass monkeys are at the door!!
Rounds Complete!!
"The Moral High Ground....A Great Place to Emplace Artillery."
That's just perfect, Tony-just perfect. I love it. You hit this one out of the ballpark!
OH SHUT UP TEX Just rub it in just rub it in.
Thank You Sir
Tony,
Figure looks great...wish I could send you some of our weather to help you finish things up...it's 66 degrees and sunny and supposed to hit the low 70s tomorrow and Sunday...hard to believe it in January even for our corner of the desert!
BP Models
The figure is ready to take his position
Too cold to spray the Marder with a flat coat outside today, maybe this weekend we'll have a warm day.
Later Folks
Now that's great news Tex
Well Mike it's that Alclad stuff you put me up to buying and you know I love the little stuff too.
Thanks my friends
Tony - This is looking real nice. Love the look of the tracks, Nice job on the breech and recoil rails. All the little details make the model pop.
Thanks Tony...have to agree with you that the GBs tend to draw a lot of builds/projects away from the main forum and the attention of the larger group as a result...one of the chief drawbacks to GBs IMHO and one of the main reasons why I don't participate in them regularly. This time around though I used it for motivation to keep working on a particular project while I adjusted to my MBA program work requirements. I think I've found the right balance point and once this build is done, will return to my regularly scheduled build thread activity here in the Armor forum, never fear!
Love what you're doing with the Marder II-D!
OK Bill that explains it but as my daddy use to say: "The next time you go out of this yard without telling somebody i'm going to bend you over my knee young man."
You're not the only one to disappear on me and I was worried about you guys. BTW your GB project is tops as usual buddy.
Slacker??? I'll have you know I've been keeping quite busy...Eric (tigerman) is quite the slavedriver when it comes to GBs.
Just for you...here's what I've been working on and almost have it finished.
Wild Bill I really appreciate your comments but if you don't get out of this Ho Hum down in the dumps attitude you seem to be in i'm going to disown you,now sit down and open a kit and get busy you slacker.
This Marder is gittin closer and closer to the finish line:
Hot Dang almost finished
Looking good Tony, the crew member gives it a nice touch. I too like Karl's "Destruction Buggy" terminology, it fits perfectly!
Pvt Mutt Sorry BB I have no excuse for being late. The Marder I Hotchkiss will be worked on too. Tony lee

"Excuse"? You don't need an excuse, Tony. This is a hobby after all. Deadlines are like (to quote "Pirates of the Caribbean") "guidelines" .
Get 'em done when you get 'em done.

It's the only game in town right now Ernest.
Yeah Karl it is cute but I wouldn't say it was pick of the litter.
Thanks to all for the kind words
TONY!!!
I don't know how I didn't notice that you'd resurrected this one.
GREAT work! As soon as you finish that figure and call her done, I'll add it to the Marder Madness Wrap-up!
the doog I think that this is just the cutest little destruction buggy that I've ever seen! I love this tank! It's a fine example of model building, Tony! The paint looks great!

"destruction buggy" !!!! That's a good one doog!! I love it!
Very nice work Tony! Perfect replication of that early tank destroyer! I take it no one else makes a Marder II based on the Pz II Ausf D chassis?

That T-28 was it. Maybe one day she will get your graceful touch.
Gun looks good. You are starting to add figs to your builds? Your last ones were great as I am sure this one will be. This fella fits in there very nicely, I like him.
Not sure if I can continue to follow along if Andy's going to be dressed cheer leading in the background of your pics
Rob
Well HI there my long long distance buddy
Better late than never they say Terry. I finished the build up of the gun and armor shields so it's ready to match weather the transport.
I suppose I should finish that figure for it too since the base coat is already on.
See Ya Monday Folks
Tony, always looking good. Can't wait to see it cross the finish line. If it helps, I can dress up like a cheerleader to cheer you to finish those kits. Yes I do remember that T-28... I'd love to see you attack it soon. I am not really into Russian armor but I'd love to build a T-28 or T-35 the battleship.
Good to have you back!
Hi, Tony you really turned this one around, as usual you have done brilliant work.
Rob I think you're referring to this T-28.
It was a gift and I started putting it together while some paint was drying on another build. I wasn't counting this as it is just a curiosity and something to fill time with.
Was sitting here thinking about all your builds left to do and..........did not think would ever be able to say this but...........I remember there was even a TANK in there to finish, NOT a SPG??
Look forward to more my friend
Pvt Mutt I think there are six more Rob. I just got carried away with getting them built and not finished. Live and Learn and Thanks for dropping by buddy Tony lee

Hey Tony,
She looks great - I love the AK stuff and am totally sold on it now (particularly the filters and streaking effects).
I'm currently building the old Tamiya 1975 'Coal Thief' original Marder II. I'm loving it - a great build!
Certainly looking forward to seeing more of this little beast - brilliant!
All the best,
Ben
On the Bench - Dragon Pz. IV Ausf. G (L.A.H.)
Man that looks good I too was very happy too see this one back on the bench and as always you did not let us down. FABULOUS so far.
I,m curious, how many more are sitting on the bench. I remember following your work and every few days a new build made an appearance Was like.....what are we going to see this time when clicking on. Kind of made things fun, but am glad to see them all get there finishing touches.
Howdy All
Well the WIP continues on the II-D. How it looks after the first coat of AK Interactive Brown/Blue Wash. The light kind of killed it but to the eye it looks good.
While the wash dries i'll finish working on the gun.
It's the weekend so have a good one folks
