As a kid, the main armor kits I had access to were the old Aurora kits. The Renwal kits were for the "big kids". My friend had an older brother with the Renwal kits. They were light years ahead of the Aurora kits. They were bigger, had multiple moving features, removable hatches, interior engine and were more in scale with the omnipresent green army men we all played with.

The Renwal kits were my holy grail of models. I was glad to see them reissued in the 80s and today.

OK, I remember "Tilly the Toiler". But I never knew the back story on the kits. The 155 Long Tom was a decent kit. At least to my 9 year old standards when I built it. Wink Perhaps in the not too distant future Revell will re issue the 75mm Skysweeper under their program of reissuing those Renwall kits. I really should have picked up the Hawk Missile battery kit.

www.Oldmodelkits.com has a Life-Like "Tillie the Toiler" . Long Tom, kits...   http://www.oldmodelkits.com/index.php Way too much money though... Effin' collector prices..

As for ADA vs Redlegs, we called 'em "Duck Hunters"...
