i use loctite precision super glue on my models and tracks. i paint the tracks while they are at the sprue, cut 'em then glue them. sometimes i use the tamiya plastic cement. it hardens a little longer than cyano.... glues. good for aligning the links.

I use the testors tube glue, because it cures somewhat slowly, thus allowing more time to shape around the drive sprockets and idlers..

I use Tamiya's Extra Thin cement (green cap). It sets up pretty fast, but gives me the time I need to mold the tracks to the wheels.

I do the long, straight runs on a plastic board with a piece of angle glued to it and let them sit overnight. If I have a long section that needs sag in it, I let it set for about 20 mins to a half hour, then push them down onto the wheels and let them harden.

I do short sections and let them dry wrapped around the sprockets and idlers with rubber bands holding them on.

Once I get all the pieces together, I add individual links between them. Kind of like link and length tracks. It works pretty well.

Last time I tried model master liquid cement and it worked out nicely. Setup hard but left me with just enough time to shape the tracks the way I wanted them.

Me too, Tiger. I want the links to hold onto each other, but I also need some play to get them snuggled into position before the bond is too tight. It's annoying, and takes some getting used to.

I use Testors liquid cement. It takes about 20 minutes to set up so it gives one plenty of time to get the tracks installed and lined up.

I use what Glenn and Steve use: Testor's liquid cement. It gives me some time to adjust the tracks if I need to..and usually I need to!
