With careful clamping, scraping, sanding and a lot of buffing with a Scotch-Brite pad... IT LIVES!

The arms off the center piece that each hold a set of wheels got it the worst.  Luckily the glue only soaked the back side since the assembly was laying that way.  Pure luck.  But boy oh boy did they soften up

Sorry to hear about the Tenax . A GREAT reminder and warning to me that I must use your misfortune to start using some of these other ideas. I have come very close to your fate.

Juice can lids (you know the frozen cans) wash it off and use a little candle wax to secure your Tennax for a wider, sturdier base. I think we've all had a situation like this at one time or another, mine was CA kicker all over a painted assembly. After that I built a shelf and I keep my finished sub-assemblies completely off the bench away from where the open glue, etc... is.

fwiw, I've taken the cap from a Krylon spray can and noted that a bottle of Tenax fits perfectly in the inner ring inside the cap....makes for a wider base and a great place to put the Microbrushes.

Hope you get all the parts sorted out.

OH DAH-UM!!!    That SUX.  Has happened to me and after several disasters got in the habit of putting bottles of Tenax in a small aluminum pan (like what a chicken pot pie comes in) when the lid is open to serve as a reservoir in case of future spills...

You read about it all the time and you say it will never happen to you. While filling the touch& Flow I knocked over a brand new (read that "FULL") bottle of Tenax. It was like watching in slow motion as the spill moves across the bench straight to where all the sub-assemblies on the bogies are sitting. By some sick twisted aberration in the laws of physics the speed of my hand trying to grab up the parts was indirectly proportional to the speed of the flow. Some of the pieces are really thin and I have straightened them and, holding with some clamps, hope to get them to be properly aligned. The wheels assemblies may be OK. I was able to pick them up out of the Tenax and the only party affected was the bottoms of the rubber. Hopefully this will be able to be sanded out. Sorry but I just couldn't bring myself to taking photos.

BTW Boyd... thanks for the clarification betweem clips and links.  As long as the bad guys down range wish they had chosen a different... well.. let's say... career path... it all works.

I'll try to get so progress pics soon but the tack has changed.  Getting the plastic parts, chassis, suspension, track etc. done so I can do a glue in fit as I go forward on the brass.

Yup, looks insane to me. Also may be the prettiest thing I've seen in some time.

Colin, they came in the massive set from Lion Roar.  No clue if they are offered separately. the set also came with 20 spent casings that I am not going to use.  I have a few extra clips to and they are yours if you want them.  PM you your address and I will be happy to send 'em your way.

Nice job on the .50 cal rounds where did you get them I've been looking for them for over 2 months for a diorama. Keep up yhe great work looking forward to seeing more.

Stunning work, that .50 call ammo belt looks the buisness. I know what its like putting together a real 7.62 ammo belt, so you deffinatly have my respect for this.
