"All vehicles of the Battalion were painted in sand-olive prior to transport to Africa.  The Tigers of the 1./Schwere Panzer-Abteilung 501 in order to make the tank camouflage more suitable to the vegetation in north Tunisia, some tanks were repainted with olive-drab paint captured from the US Army, this color was darker than the original sand-olive color".

Nice work on the tools Rodolfo.

That photo "in color" is actually colourised, i.e. a hand painted black-and-white photo.

I haven't noticed any clear evidence of olive green Tigers and I don't know where that statement came from.

In the last months I saw some works from expert modellers using these colors with variable tones

I will keept the Tiger in this color because I agree that this one is the correct. Thanks again!

Hello friends!

Today I had an accident with the tank, the Micro set for add one decal "not working", maybe was contamined for the time or for broken bottle .

I not want to paint again!. I will arrange it during the washes

Wow, that's not cool.  Did you put a clear coat on before the decals?  

Yes, I applied a light coat and with the contact with the decal was the accident, the liquid had this reaction; I tried to dry with paper and was peor worst .    I hope to give a damage apparience.

Before to mounting the wheels, I Applying the Polyvinyl Acetate and Marble Powder, after  Vallejo Pigments Natural Sienna using Pigment Fixer (AK).

For weathering with desert-yellow I used with airbrush:  red-brown XF-64 + white XF-2 + flat-yellow XF-3.

Nice layering result with the pigments Rodolfo, looks great over the green.

I used first the coat of polyvinyl  + the marble powder and finally the pigments.

Working the Turret at 90%:  Impacts with Black of Vallejo.   Weathering with Pigments Sienna Natural of Vallejo using Enamel Thinner of Humbrol, detailing of dark earth with  "dark-earth" of Humbrol.  Final details of impacts with  "Polished Aluminium" of Humbrol.

Making good progress Rodolfo! One thing to note, the tubes on the rear engine deck leading to the Feifel air filters were rubber, not metal, so they wouldn't have a rusty appearance as a result. Love the dusty look you're achieving here, sets off the green nicely.

Rubber tubes? Whence this idea? I've never seen them anything but painted metal. Here's an original;
