Every GB has a badge that you can pin to your sig once you join or complete your build.

Armour in the West GB's feeler

Ok, I know, we have two armour GB's started up, but the time frame of this idea will fit round those. And it is a long lead in, they won't start until June, but wanted to make an early start.

The idea is for Eagle90 and myself to run two GB's with the same time frame and entry rules, one for Allied armour and one for German. This would be to mark the 70th anniversary of the last year of the war in Europe.

The GB would start on 6th June 2014 (D-Day) and end on 8th May 2015 (VE Day).

Both GB's would come under the umbrella of armour in the West. The Allied GB, hosted by Eagle, would be title D-Day to Berlin. The German GB would be called Defence of the Reich.

To take part, your build must have been involved the campaign in western Europe between those dates. This means no What If's and nothing from Italy or the Eastern Front. Operation Dragoon would be included.

It will be open to anything ground based, armour, soft skins, artillery and figures.

It will be open to any scale and can be OOB or as much AM as you like.

NO Crossovers for this. For those in the 1944 or Hunter's GB, they end well before this does, so plenty of time to build for those, and the N African GB, and then jump on this afterwards.

Badges have already been done, so you can't let us down.

For the Allied GB

German GB

And for anyone who takes part in both, you can either take the two above or this combine badge.

And one last thing. This will be Eagle's first GB as host, so go easy (well, not to easy)

If there's the interest, the GB thread will be up at end of April. Plenty of time to plan ahead.
