Redleg, I'm just now seeing your response to my question. That's a much more meaningful explanation. I enjoyed your website, too. Thanks for your careful work on these models. I look forward to seeing more from you.

Steve - Thanks, and of course you like the spade... Wink

Earl - Thanks for coming by. Well not the other 3 but I do have the M110 and M110A1 which would complete the variant family of the M110 and if you throw in the M107 that would give me a battery.

Gamera - Thanks, and you are welcome. It is always a pleasure to be here with my friends at FSM

Mike!

She is awesome! How I wish that I can do mine justice when I have the courage to start it. Memories are something never to be replaced and seeing what you have achieved here is like going back in time to relive that time in my life. There is nothing to make your heart swell with pride than being in an 8" battery.  Just one question Mike. Will you consider building the other three to make a complete battery?? Just kidding. Your love of the artillery truly shows in this beautiful model.

Just back from your site. Great stuff! Is that a PAK-75 I see? Had to babysit them once at Ft. Carson. Charlie 5/29 FA. DivArty rotated them around. Too many silly memories.  :) Bob

Joe - Thanks, I truly appreciate your comment using the term "artist" . Something many forget that our hobby is an art. Being termed an artist is an honor.

Johan - Thanks for the kind words...a full scale on the front lawn.....someday!!!

Earl - The Funny Duck Club... may have been in the rear eating the track dust but it had its advantages!! Thanks for the comments. As for an article, I leave those to my buddies Bill or Karl. I have been down that path, not my thing. I do keep a web site and everyone is always welcome there. Just click on my logo below. Lastly as for the memories,my pleasure. It is one of the reasons I build almost strictly artillery, memories and a big part of my life.

Mike,

This is truly outstanding! This girl could nail a needle in a haystack, just as you are doing with this build!! You should publish your build in FSM, my bet would be that it would bring others back into the hobby. From one experienced M110 to another, bless you and thanks for all of the memories which you brought back to an old horse soldier.

How could we ever take the M110 out of the Army arsenal?

Stay well Mike,

Earl

Hi,

The finish and your attention to detail is remarkable.

Like the fire extinguisher, seat, the dust covers.

Very inspiring - I want one!

Very Best Regards
