This is truly outstanding! This girl could nail a needle in a haystack, just as you are doing with this build!! You should publish your build in FSM, my bet would be that it would bring others back into the hobby. From one experienced M110 to another, bless you and thanks for all of the memories which you brought back to an old horse soldier.

How could we ever take the M110 out of the Army arsenal?

Finally finished the last few little details. Water cans are from Real Model, section chest from resin my parts supply, the pole set is from a Tamiya accessory set and the US Flag is from Archer.

The aiming posts in the case are from a Verlinden resin set, the ramming staff is .030 styrene rod, and the pack from a Tamiya accessory set.

Tool accessory bag is from Verlinden and the pack under the seat is from Tamiya.

The camo net bag/tarp under equipment is scratch made. Net pole bag is from Tamiya along with the packs. The net is from AFV. I have to say the new AFV nets are a PITA to work with. They are VERY delicate and it is difficult to “open” up the leaf sections without ripping the net. My first try to roll the net was not a good look, thus I carefully unrolled and folded. It is the best match for modern nets but very delicate!

After finalizing touch ups with AK Wash for desert colors and MIG Desert Sand pigment. Here is the overall view from the rear

She is awesome! How I wish that I can do mine justice when I have the courage to start it. Memories are something never to be replaced and seeing what you have achieved here is like going back in time to relive that time in my life. There is nothing to make your heart swell with pride than being in an 8" battery.  Just one question Mike. Will you consider building the other three to make a complete battery?? Just kidding. Your love of the artillery truly shows in this beautiful model.
