The beginnings of the 750cc motor just to show a little bit of progress here. I may add some spark plug wires and boots to the engine to spruce it up a little on down the road.

YariCav I've never used one of the Bandai kits. Are they out of production now? How's the detail on the vehicle and figures?

From the model Air Range, its 71.056. Not sure about their other ranges. The official code is RAL 7021 Panzer Grey but some times called dark Grey.
yari, Bandai is now out of business. I have not built one of their kits, but recently a few people have made positive comments. One of the guys has just stared a 48th Nashorn and he seems to like it.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

This is gonna be interesting, Joe! I really like to use Gunze's Dark Gray (H401) for German armor. The few color pics I've seen of grey German vehicles show them to be very dark and that Gunze color looks just about right. And in casi it's too dark you can still add a few drops of white and add some post shading...
Tamiya's German Gray looks good too, just a wee bit lighter.
Thanks Bish. Usually Model Master or Vallejo acrylics.
Ok, now that I have recovered. What brand of paints do you normally use or have access to. If using Tamiya, XF-63 German grey works for Pz Grey.
I will post a proper reply later.
I just have to go and pinch myself first to make sure this isn't a dream.
But one quick question, have you worked out where the wings go yet.
To start with , the decals are toast. I'll need a set of those. I did a little looking around and haven't found any yet. I have a Tamiya 1/48 offering on order but its been on back order now for the last 2 months..............
For those of you who know me , I'm used to building 1/48 scale aircraft and hang out in either a GB or in the aircraft section alot. I've had the hankerin' to build something to go along with my aircraft for some time now and have been wanting to build one of these R75's for a while now(16 or so years). I had acquired one in 1998 but it got damaged in a move (as my grandpa used to say , "5 moves is equal to a burn out" and he's right!) . I recently acquired another and wanted to start a WIP on this mainly because I have only one resource for this thing and I have no idea of the exterior colors. I know I don't want to build the tan version of it but again color references are low and don't know which shade of gray to use. Anyways the second reason I wanted to do this is that some of you won't believe I'm actually doing this so why not do a WIP on it so those of you who do know me will know its not a dream.................................Bish. lol
So here goes. Heres the box art:
and the parts layout:
with that , we'll get started.
