Gamera - thanks a lot for your kind words! This kit sure has a level of detail that 1/35 models once used to have. I'm glad you like it!

RX7850 - Those Dragon 1:72 half tracks are really nice, so it was a good decision to stash them. I really had to look hard to find my kit and it was hidden in a dark corner of a warehouse somewhere in the rural Germany! I mean literally!

Hello!

Took a lot of time, but I tried to paint camo on my D Ausf. Hanomag. Setting up my airbrush for such a thin line took a lot of tweaking, but here are the results:

Thanks a lot for your kind words! I'm glad you like it. Meanwhile, on the Polish forum I got comments like "Tragedy!", "You'd been better off leaving it Dunkelgelb" and "Should be repainted ASAP". Just goes to show you different points of view...

While I see the faults of this paint job I rather like it, so I'm really glad I'm not alone!

It's a small scale that makes it harder to begin with plus most of the real ones was painted in the field by 20 year olds in a hurry with things like a rag on a stick or a mop if lucky maybe close to a panzer IV or a tiger with a air compressor and spray gun.

Clint, Gamera - thanks a lot for your kind words! While I see the faults of my paint job and I'll try to do even better next time, the aura of negativity on the Polish forum bothers me a bit. I for myself am quite satisfied with what I've got and I don't think I could easily repaint it to be better this time. Like I wrote, that's not to say it's perfect now -there's still room for improvement and I'll try to improve - some day.

Pawel, "lather, rinse, repeat" the only way to master something is to continue to do the work and learn from the boo boos. I don't see anything that can't be fixed, or left as is because YOU like it.

    I applaud folks who use an airbrush on 1/72 stuff, I muff up 35th and bigger, I would LOVE to hear the trash talk about my 72nd attempt LOL.

   Your happy, I think they look great. Keep it up sir.

I like your paint job. And so long as you like it who cares  about those arragant comments from that forum. Those are the type of personalities that annoy me about this hobby. Looking forward to seeing it done .

Rx is right don't worry about what others say about it if your happy that's all that matters. I stopped posting on another site because of a mostly airplane modeler who use to also be on this site and run his own would not stop harassing me over a tiger I built from a SS division. I guess I should of been ashamed of myself for modeling a SS subject and I wasn't the only one he was harassing too, mods never done anything so I just left that was like 5 years ago. This site has always been very friendly and I only post here now.

RX7850, Clint - thanks a lot for your encouragement. I don't say you should only be nice all the time. I'm aware my camo could be better and it will be, I'm going to work on it. I'm just a bit amazed by this total negativity my fellow Polish modellers have shown me.

In the meantime I have completed the Ausf. D. Here's what it looks like:

She looks right at home with the others. That pioneer is really nice looking I keep wanting to do that camo scheme on something. Also completed? You have about 15 other variants to do for it to be a complete set lol.

Clint - I wasn't building every possible variand as in /something here, I believe that could take a lifetime or more! I only wanted to have a comparison between the Ausf's. And I didn't build the Ausf. B because I thought there just weren't enough differences between it and the Ausf. A. But now I can see and show the progression from A, to C, to D, and that was what I wanted to do!
