Actually, the Towed Gun Group Build started April 1st and ends July 1. Those have been the parameters from the start. As far as I'm concerned, if you start your gun kit June 30 and end it July 1, you are 100% legit! Smile [:)]

HC, why not edit the first post in the thread to show

(1) What vehicles are allowed, and

(2) Which members are in the build

That way you know that we know that we know what you know...

Cheers, Andy!

The Sturmpanzer III is kind of cool, but I got a few that will work for this build. The build Shawn, runs Aug 16- Oct 16.

Well that seems to be a pretty good choice of machines there , and some nice new kits out there to represent them as well , so you can count me in on this one ! Not quite sure what I will build as of now , probably a sturmtiger, However I may do a stug as well , that new dragon kit is pretty tempting ! Let us all know when it starts , so we can order our goodies ahead of time .

Not only the Brummbar, but the Sturmpanzer III will be accepted, so the list is now: StugIII,StugIV,Sturmhaubitze,Sturmtiger,Sturmpanzer III and Brummbar(Sturmpanzer IV). Approve [^]

We have decided to accept the SturmTiger into the build, but if we do that then we need to include the Brummbar.

Thanks all

please email me if you are in the build.Smile [:)]

i see that there has been a recent upswing in interest over the sturmtiger. I'll discuss with Tankbuild121 if we should make this a Sturmgeschutze/Sturmtiger build. I'll post again later.

I would be intersted in doing that for sure Tigerman:the sturmtiger would be a great addition to my collection , but it should wait for a vote before I try to add that GB to the forum , there just may not be that much interest in that kind of machine , if there was a large amount of people interested , it would make it so much more fun I think ! We'll see how it goes , right now we have to get through the ones we already have in here .

The DDay GB will end on August 6th and begins on June 6th.
As for the Small afv GB i'm not sure it has an end date.
I havent built a stug yet, maybe its time.

Shawn, perhaps you could start an Assault Gun build after the Stug build. Cool [8D]

Well, we would like to keep it small. That is the point, we dont want to have this huge topic were ther is one of each, we would like to see what people can do with a Stug. And we can talk about them since every one builds a stug. Thanks for the putback

Thanks allSmile [:)]

I think an assault gun GB would have far more contributions , its fun to see all forms of a particular weapon from all countries the russians had some mean assault guns as did the allies toward the end , the stug was pretty kool for sure ( and there is a nice new kit from dragon out now BTW) but why limit it to just the stug ?, just my 2 cents here .

Hey Folks,

Are there any limits regarding scale in this group build? I'm working on building Bandai's 1/15 scale Stug IV right now. I'm currently stalled awaiting parts but I'd love to join your group build.

I would love to join but we have a contest coming up here in Denmark in Nowember and Im deeply involved in the planing, I also have my Leopold that I need to finish, so I guess I'll have to wait for that assault gun thing. Disapprove [V]

Joe you said my sentiments exactly. In the Panther build we were like a small family so to speak. We were all working on Panthers even though there were variants. Alot of the info that applied say to an A type also applied to the G as well. Same would more or less happen in a Stug only build. Yah, that's what this needs to be all about. Cool [8D]

Go the Stug's. The date sounds ideal.

I liked the initial Stug build idea. Limits it to a particular vehicle. Someday I would like to see a tank destroyer build. My Hellcat keeps calling my name.

The date for the build is tentatively set for August 16. If this conflicts, let me know. IF we were to build any assult gun, the following would be a choice:Hummel,Nashorn/Hornisse,Jagdpanzer IV, Wespe, Marder, Bison, and Stug. I think Jagdtigers, Jagdpanthers, and Sturmtigers would qualify as a heavy tank destroyer or assault mortar.
I think that we should make this just a Stug III and StugIV build (we can do an assault gun build after the stug one is overQuestion [?] maybe?)

watch for more updates. and please email me if you are in.

I agree. Good idea. I love Jagdpanzer IV's.
