The date was completely arbitrary, the date of Wittmann's death, and it happened to be a Sunday and a good distance off.
I have no problem changing it either way, sooner or later if it means more can join. It would also make a sponsorship a little easier too.
When I get some answers from companies we can bounce the date around if you like.
Chris, I was only kidding, I have no plan to contact Airfix. I'd rather try to make one out of Jello.

Phil, 24 hours was just meant to be the 'window'. Even with a five month warning, and a Sunday, I don't see myself getting the time I would like. There's going to be a lot of juggling. Because of the time differences, we couldn't get everyone online and give a starters whistle, although that would be cool. Based on most of our members pics, I expect to see some serious builds here with alot of detail and weathering. That's why I would love to get a quality kit in everyone's hands.
