I definetly did this for fun but, it also reminded me
why I like to do armor. It was a lot of sanding and painting. Everything had to be perfect or it would show with a gloss paint.
Those headlights, I can't tell you how mant times I shaped and sanded and then painted only to find lumps or misses and sanded and painted again. But I did enjoy doing it and getting the finish product to come out baby-butt smooth.
Can't make a Tiger look that good - right Sherm !
I wanted to chop it alittle further but, I didn't want to get too gowdy. Came across an awesome plum metalflake - but decided - maybe not
Bill ( wipw) - It took probably as much time as if I had built it normally - only thing was I spent a lot more time on the finish rather than the building.
Tigerman, Phroosh - I was thinking more of those little balls hanging on strings all around the bottom of the hull or maybe some neon to light up the track !
Thanks for the great comments they are appreciated ! I thought a slight change of pace would be nice.
Thanks again,
Jim
