not too long ago, some New York 'Redbird' subway cars were stripped & also dropped into the ocean 4 the same purpose...
pretty cool way 2 recycle old metal, IMHO...

the mothballed sherman looks great !
now i know what 2 do w/ my airfix sherman kit (the one that donated it's hatch 2 my m32)
unless it ends up as part of my D-Day GB project as a damaged vehicle.

Robert, that is some really NICE work! I love the shipping container!! FSM should do a showcase of your work, it's obvious your heart is in it.

Beautiful work as usual Robert, and an extremely quirky idea- only a Shermanfreak like you could build such an obscure thing and have it seem perfectly logical!
