Carpet monster

I find that laying a flashlight on the carpet and shining it over the area of the lost part can sometimes defeat the carpet monster. The part stands out better than shining the light from above. Don't let the secret out, or that clever creature will find a new way to steal parts. He defeated the sticky lint roller trick by sending a shedding Golden Retriever to foul the tape on the roller

Today? .... I have linolium in my new shop which is nice in that the parts are visible yet they tend to bounce... I also mounted a flourecent light under the work bench to aid in recovery ops...
