Notice how the thingamabob connects to the whoozits, and the berkeley-hunt is right below the who's-your-aunt-Fred. I found this to be a fascinating example of masterful Teutonic engineering.

Hehehe, good one Larry. But it just so happens that I have an inside connection in Munster, I know one who works there as a voulanteer, and he told me that if I wanted to I could be allowed to go inside the King Tiger and take some pics, but all the hatches are welded shut so the only way in is through the escape hatch in the bottom of the tank, and Im 175 cm and 80 kilos and there is NO WAY I'll get through that hatch.

I'd wish I had a scaner Matt, but I don't. I have some good pics in one of my books, but I don't know of any pics online. Sorry. Get Thomas L. Jentz's book on the KT and you will find plenty of info there.

Anyone got any pics of the inside of a King Tiger Turret?

I don't want to go overboard, but I am building DML Porsche version, and would like the hatches open, but with fellas in em, so I have a little bit of space to fill.
Some general info on ammo racks would be nice, as I assume most of the turret would be filled by these, my Tiger in Action book says there was room for 22 rounds. Perhaps they are similar to a Tiger1's?

Whilst I am being demanding, any rear view pics of a King w/ zimmerit would be nice too!Blush [:I]
