You could look on greatmodels or squadron. I know they both have search options where you can search by keyword, or by scale and manufacturer. Dragon makes some nice figures. I picked up a set of their Fallschirmjagers...very nice.

Thanks! The Hobbit's an awsome book, I'll need to reread it. This was the first book report that I actually got to choose the book, but I've been stranded with crappy books too... cough cough, Hardy Boys, cough...

I like the idea of when their pinned in the ditch and winters is trying to get everyone to get up. My only problem is figures. I know DML make 101st partrooper on normandy, but thats all I know. I don't want to spend too much money, like on verlinden figures, so this will kinda be low bugdet...

Lucky you! I got Nathaniel Hawthorne's "Scarlet Letter", but later a bit of better reading with "The Hobbit".

(Coincidence you were reading Band of Brothers as this project comes about?)

Those are two excellent scenes to recreate. If you want to do a city dio, Carentan would be interesting. Then again, you could do Bastogne and also enter the Battle of the Bulge build, thus killing two birds with one stone. There is one approach to a town (I am struggling to remember the name) where Easy was pinned down on the road approaching the city by a German MG crew

So for my English class we have to do a book report. One or my options (amoungst all the boring summaries and what not) is to create a diorama of a scene from the book. The book I happenWink [;)] to be reading is Band of Brothers by Stephen Ambrose. I just finished and now I'm thinking what scene I should make the dio about. The miniseries is exactly like the book, so does anybody have any sugestions on what scene from the miniseries/book I should do?

I'm thinking about doing the scene where Lt Speirs runs behind the German soldiers in the town of Foy during the battle of the bulge. Or when Easy takes out the German artillery near Utah Beach at Brecourt Manor. Any help would be great! It's due in about a month, so I don't have much time, but any suggestions would be greatly appriciated!Big Smile [:D]
