Coming along nicely Horus. Looks like a nice clean build so far.

A company by the name of HK Creations makes a set of tracks for the Leopard, I'm not sure if there are any more out there or not though.

IMHO, I'd use the kit tracks for this build, they appear to be fairly decent and with the side skirts on the vehicle you don't have to worry about any track sag (if there is any on a Leopard).

Keep the pics coming !!

Horus,
in my view that kit it's quite good on it own and seen the simplicity of the parts that can be enhanced you can easily do it by yourself saving money and having extra fun. I've just finished a L1A2 (Italian production) of which I'm posting a couple of pics in progress and a couple finished. Full sets are here if you're interested in: http://pnavy.com/mbie/albun72

In progress

and finished

Sherman,
Thank you for the compliment! No track sag here tho the tracks fit nicely! :)
M1,
Yes side skirts do rock!!

Scoccia,
That is a nice L1A2!! Where did you find the rear engine grill and motor or did your model come with that as mine is just a plastic grill thats blocked up so theres nothing undernethe it.

Also this model came with a Conning tower, much like the one used on the Austrailian AS1 Leopard Here:

Horus, the parts you mentioned came with the kit. If you've only got the grid it's not that complicated to scratchbuild the underneath engine cooling fan. If you're interested in I can make some drawings for you...

Horus,

for tow ropes I use bike gear cable.
It is the right size and if you leave it in water for a while , you get real rust!

Horus:
it's looking good....i was wondering, did you hand paint it ? i've been working up the courage to try a multicolor scheme, but i don't have an airbrush. so, i'm kinda scared to mess it up.
