Osher bro, thank you!  The ammo is more of an artistic thing, nothing really big, and as you overlooked it it must not be huge either LOL Thanks for your comments, and there's no reason not to make any on my tanks!!

Due to previous experience, I wasn't going to make any comment, bar, GREAT MODEL!  It looks really good!  (and better than anything I can do!).  However, as the comments are already out there, and as an ex-IDF Tankie, I would say that Arty is right about the machine guns ammo belts not being outside the boxes.

Still, it is quite minor, and actually, I over-looked it first time around!

This may have been covered but I was tired of reading the nit-picking stuff along the way.
I noticed one discussion about the sights and covers, my references state that not all Israeli Magach 7's were Rise-Passive.  That being said - while the dome appears to be used to house part of the upgraded system (The left one was removed as redundant in the 7C), a search will show that the cover plate seen on US M-60's is not seen on the Magach.

Since Israeli tanks go through updates and upgrades in a much shorter cycle than US tanks, just about any combination of genral features can be accurate.

Keep us posted on the your IDF journey James, the Merkava was a real inspiration and this one is just so impressive!
The camo job is tops, the detail is superb!
Thank you for sharing :D
Greetings also to Gino for always caring about detail, a very good kit can become a masterpiece when the last touch off accuracy is there, that is said without questioning your sources or quality at all James!
Good Stuff, keep them coming.

LPT thanks bro for trying to "defend" this... If that's the word... As for Arty, well yes he was only relating things based on the US' use of the M60 and well that's all he has.. he was right on a couple of issues, and the model was fixed persae...  I didn't have clear references on the lights or the hooks being mentioned, but an IDF tanker has confirmed them for me.  He was a little wrong with the laser range finder and the filters and what not, but that's cool... no need to be fighting over models it's kinda stupid and trivial, this I have learned from my attempts at arguing with the people who THINK they know all.  There'll always be people who will try to flex their muscle in their "knowledge" of things.  Arty is very knowledgeable on different aspects of the US military, and I will call on him for this knowledge one day.  It may seem people have huge ego's here, but these words are empty and meaningless, it's what YOU put into them that makes the difference, you could be reading what Arty wrote with your interpretation being "cold hearted SOB..."  all the while he is typing with a huge smile and a handshake intended. (though I don't think arty is like that, but I'm sure he's a nice guy!!!)  All I'm saying is mudslinging is retarded, throwing books for people to read is childish, and pictures of retarded people is even more lame...  Let's all be men and start acting like it...  Thanks Dan for your comments about my model, I didn't know it was going to turn into a hot bed

Apart from the flaming going on in here and the links to bookds that have nothing at all to do with IDF or any other armor, it's very nice model.  Very interesting, like most of those unusual IDF subjects.

And hey guys, if the builder likes a model, than the model is a succes, I was always under the impression that we build models for ourselves (ok, I'm not counting professionals here).

Heavy and LPT, cool down guys, this is starting to remind of a nasty episode over at the airplane section a while back, resulting in the leaving of two members.

O.K., whatever.  Seems like you are the one with the problems.  I have no need to "defend you ego", as you put it.  I think you need to read some of these books yourself and worry about something more important.  Maybe see a shrink too.  You obviously have issues.

Uh no actually I always did a fairly good job. Its just been experience that the OCs there think overly highly of themselves when in fact they can do no better than a rotational unit. Then again having perfect intel as an OC always helps.

You hit the nail on the head. 12 years in the U.S. Army doesn't make you an expert on Israeli tanks. The Israelis are reknown for customizing their vehicles. If anything, nothing is "standard" on an Israeli tank.

You can continue to defend you ego, its your choice. Im done with you.

What makes you such an expert on Israeli armored vehicles? I know you aren't an Israeli and I know you aren't an Israeli tanker.

Who are you to judge his creativity bringing up such trivial matters at to the color of lights and how he idsplays the ammo? I looked at your models and I know Im sure I could cite all kinds of technical errors.

As for my mulitple posts it was a friendly PSA. If you want to be from an unfriendly model company go ahead...its your $$.

LPT319, if I may make a suggestion?

Great-looking Magach! Nice and dusty, as you'd expect.

The Israelis pack so much stuff onto and into their AFVs, I'd guess it's almost impossible to say for sure what's accurate or not!

LPT319, you need to take a deep breath, sit back, and think real hard about what you're posting. It's knowledgeable, experienced guys like Gino who take the time to honestly and constructively post their opinions that make FSM great. Nobody rains on anybody's parades here...we all help each other out towards the ultimate goal of enjoying our hobby.

You are certainly welcome to participate here at FSM, LPT319, but from the very few posts I've seen from you thus far, I'd wager you've left more than a few wet parades behind you yourself. Let's try to keep the weather clear here at FSM, shall we?

No expert on Iraeli armor.  Simply pointing out general inaccuarcies of an M60 tank, such as the light set-up.  I think 12 years of active duty in and around these vehicles gives me some bit of expertise.  Apparently you have been to NTC in some capacity.  Our MO is not to "rain on others parades," but to train soldiers to survive in combat.  If you were constantly being haggered, you were probably pretty screwed up and deserved it.  If you want to give me constructive criticism on my stuff, shoot away.

well spacepacker, there isn't anything wrong with it.. Arty thanks for the lighting issue, that's fixed with gloss black, and I was wrong with the tow shackles... those were fixed too, as were the decals, you won't see the adhesive anymore...  Steve, I dunno, my LHS dealer got me hooked into it, and along with all the free stuff I got and the research I have done, I have fallen inlove with the IDF.  Modern stuff is alot of fun, and I never really gave it a chance... the ability to throw some older parts onto a different version and the modifications that the IDF do to their stuff really makes this a fun set of armour to build!  Plus, it's a small nation, and a highly under modelled subject.  The research I have done has really made me more interested in IDF armour and well I think it's some cool lookin stuff!
