Thanks for the kind words. As you can tell from my numerous posts (and little building!) that I really enjoy the exchanges here in the forums. Big Smile [:D]

Speaking of getting my honey started building, that just happened the other day! I have a few pix I may post (if she consents!) of her building a Doyushu 1/300 747-400 Reso'cha, the same aircraft we flew in to Saipan. After a quick tutorial, she was off! She completed a very nice, very clean build in about an hour. I was impressed! She has commissioned me to paint it, though.
And coincidently, she'll be doing another kind of modeling in a couple of weeks: modeling kimonos in Kyoto for a calender! Big Smile [:D]

Mr. Takemura, can I call you Norio, too? It's very hard to yobisute, though! Tongue [:P]

(Yobisute means to call a person by his or her name without the honorific attached)

Your English is fine! If you ever do run into some tough stuff, though, just gimme a holler!

Ron, it's too late. Norio aleady knows what a nut I am, so, by association, well, you know! Wink [;)]

I've heard it turns up ocassionally in specialty shops, but I'm sure it's not exported to the States by Artbox (the publisher of Armour Modelling, Scale Aviation, and Model Graphix). Too bad they have nothing on-line...

Brian, I'm not sure Armor Modelling is imported to the States. I haven't found any reference to it yet.

Sorry. If someone locates it, please let all know. It will probably be their biggest selling issue Stateside!!

Please alow me to post my welcome to the forums to you, late though it is. You are a most welcome addition to our family. I thank you for being willing to get on here and talk with us, as well as put up with a bit of the craziness this forum brings. It is a lot of fun. Maybe I should yank it off the base and set it next to a Sherman. You can kinda get a sense of the immensity of the vehicle by comparing it to the guy leaning on the front. Just the turret alone would have been about the same size as a Sherman!

Hey, you should put a larger pic on the forum, so that us new-b's can see what it looks like next to a NORMAL sized tank-a sherman for instance...
