Panzerguy - that there Marder is pretty awesome! Wish I had been able to abduct you to get this one in Winter Warriors, but Tigerman got his claws in you first...Evil [}:)] Heheheheh.

The figs came out great, REALLY digging the exhaust - how'd you get the "textured" appearance on it?

Superb! Make a Toast [#toast]

That's one real nice Marder that you got there. It looks fantastic!!!!!! What whitewash method did you use? Are those footprints on the front from somebody's dirty boots? The mud/dirt in the fighting compartment is a nice touch and as stated before wonderful job on the figs.

Fantastic build Panzerguy. I love the whitewash and the mud. Nice touch of putting the footprints in the rear area. Of course the figs are excellent as has been noted before.

Superb, the figures really do convey a sense of sub zero with nasty wind chill.

Love the white wash on your Marder.  Your figures are an inspiration.  They really convey the climate.  I should now it's still cold hereBig Smile [:D]

Here is the latest update of my M10.  Got the interior done and weathered.  I used just he AFv PE set in this build so far.  Will be using the Armoscale brass shells for on the ready racks.  At least when I get that far.  Other than those two sets I am building OTB.  I really hate injector pin marks.  I also finished most of the lower hull.  Only have to put the suspension on.  Waiting for painting on that step.

I agree with a previoues post;
Makes you shiver and feel realy sorry for the dudes Shock [:O]

Everyone, all looking good!
Keep the progress reports and postings coming, thank You for sharing!

I have contacted Dragoncare on three occasions so far and been possitvely surprised every time.
New drawings, new parts and they even offered to replace my track set for my T1 early.
That is excellent customer care!

Well, no pics as yet. But I got the base green on the little 1:72 Su-100. A gem of a kit.

Next up, some panel work to pop out detail.

Not much of an update with out images, sorry.

Cheers

Good to know. That be cool if you could order certain parts like Magic-Tracks.

Just found out that the model kasten track's I ordered are out of stock and the company has no idea when the'll be getting more in so I cancelled the order, real bummer would have been done by the end of the week.Been looking all over for them but it look's like everyone's out of stock even tried to see if Dragon might sell just their magic link's.If anybody know's were to get some it would be a big help.

Bob- Thank's, glad you like it.

panzer88-Looking real good, have you thought about an ambush pattern would look pretty good on this beast.

My opinion is not to put on the redbrown.  I like how it looks w/just the green

panzer88-looks great.  Very nice work.

To everyone's work that I've failed to comment on-a lot of first rate builds here.  You guys are all setting the standards.

Tigerman-My Marder remains unstarted.  I've managed to paint myself into a corner with three previous committments that are coming due soon.  The Tamiya kit looks to be a pain free build, but with a lot of detail and potential of doing more detailing.  It's a kit that I would like to take at least 4-5 months to work on to try to do it justice. And check out the May FSM & the article on detailing a Marder M III.  Therefore, with your permission, I would like to withdrawl the Marder and substitue a 1/48th Tamiya Hetzer (assuming that my LHS still has one sitting on the shelf Whistling [:-^]).  I'll update you with the status of my shopping adventure tomorrow. If it's not ok, then I'll revisit after I complete the 3 open builds and advise.

Thanks

Sure Bob, no problem. At my pace I might be done by Christmas. LOL

Haha, whoops, my bad. Your right. Well, I look forward to yours then.

Panzer88, tough call, but I think you ought to add the red-brown. I love what you've done so far. Excellent work. Did you hard-edge?

That'd be sweet if you could do that.  The weekend is fine, I'm not ready for exterior paint yet.  I have more parts I have to glue on first.  I also have a turrent I need to assemble.

Lots of great progress here! I've been pretty busy lately, but my Jagdpanzer is almost done - I have only to finish the mud and pigment effects and do a few more filters on the upper hull, add the figures, and I'll be done. Hopefully I can get some progress pictures up soon.

Superb figures, Panzerguy - the expressions especially. One day, maybe, I'll get even half as good as that.

Cheers,

Chris.

This also halts another project dead in it's tracks.  I can't do the camo scheme without that gravity feed.  Unless I can find someone to loan me their gravity feed, but I ain't holding my breath.

Bummer! Mind you, some brands of airbrush, such as Badger, have side-feed cups, which, in effect, convert syphon-feeds to gravity feeds. They also have the advantage of making cleaning easier, especially between colours, and wasting less paint. Can you get a side-feed cup for your brush?

Cheers,

Chris.

Was looking at some drawing's of my Marder in one of my book's and noticed something I had'nt seen before. The travel lock has what look's like a shock absorber on it do'nt know how I missed it.The kit do'snt include this part so more scratch building.

A couple of  pic's before and after

Since the paint needed to set for a couple of day's and still waiting for my track's I spent some time on my fig's.
