I'm currently building Trumpeter's LAV-AT for "The Hunters GB" and as soon as I am done I'll be sure to post it here!

Great builds btw, I especially like the LAV-III, did you use a conversion kit, or was it scratchbuilt mod's to an existing kit?

I'll have to take some better photos of my Italeri LAV-AT, maybe this weekend. Currently working on the Italeri LAV-M but that'll probably take several months to complete at the rate that I build.

Here's a pic of my LAV-25 I built a couple of years ago.  It doesn't look quite as nice as your machines.  It's Trump's LAV OOTB.  I'd recommend the kit, but it needs some accessories to give it some life.  It's what my model lacks.

Thanks Chris. it was a scratchbuilt using the Trumpeter kit last year. Dan, the tarp was made using rolled up wet tissue paper. Then spray painted with a brown paint. Then weathered with pigments.

Here are a few pictures of the LAV-25 project my son and I recently completed.

As noted in a previous thread, 'complete' is a relative term when an 8 year old is using the model for recon missions in the family room.  There are several missing parts, etc.

Trumpeter LAV 25 in 1/35, straight OOB, Tamiya acrylics, etc.

Well, I guess I'll add mine to the list.  Its the LAV-C2

thats the Trumpeter kit.  Great kit, if you ask me.  I'd like to do the other variants eventually

Here's my contribution... Italeri's LAV-AT. Built exactly 11 years ago and despite the kit's flaws, I enjoyed this build. AM tires by TAC Scale, Aber's PE set and the figures are Verlinden's. I like Italeri's kits and currently have the -M on my workbench with the -25 slated as a future project.

Wow Kevin, that's one sweet looking LAV! I'm currently building the Trumpeter version of this but it probably won't turn out half as good as yours. Awesome work on the figures & base aswell!

Nope, I'm an Airwinger, so we'd race aircraft tugs.  The officers raced helicopters.

Thanks Chris! Looking forward to seeing yours here as well and also to see (and hear) what Trump's version is like. Their -C2 and -25 versions posted here look really nice.

Charles... thanks for your comment! Glad that you approve!  I don't recall how long the build took but I do recall that it was a fun project to do. The vegetation is a combination of things from various sources but the palm fonds are made of paper glued to a wire shaft then the paper was cut to shape and painted. Pretty easy.

It's the Trumpter LAV 4 Recovery kit. Great kit and a plaesure to build. 

Great job Chris. Looks like Trumpeter makes some nice LAV kits, for one exception...thier Stryker kit wasn't at all all that, unfortunately. They rushed too quickly with that kit. AFV Club's way better.

BTW Chris, did you use an after market piece for the exhaust?

Here is a picture of my LAV C3i vehicle. This is based on a vehicle at MCAS Kaneohe, HI in 1991. The model is based on the Italeri kit. Most of the upper vehicle is scratchbuilt, with lots of brass pieces added. The large directional telescoping antenna was made from steel wire, brass square stock, lots of telescoping tubing sections, and patience! The MG ring was scratched and MG added. Screens were added over the engine louvers, and the wheels turned. Stowage was also scratched up.

WOW!! Now there's something you don't see everyday... I've never seen photos of the actual, never knew that this LAV version existed.

Can any of yuo tell me where i can find an LAV 25 kit? I'm a LAV mech in the USMC, and I'm looking for LAV and AAV kits to display in my section at work. any help you could offer would help
