Thanks JT ... but as stated earlier ... I have a hard time getting the "smoke" paints w/o having to order it online and pay twice as much for it (shipping ...). I have standards! (HAHA!!)

If anyone want to "donate" a spare bottle, I'll take it! (HAHAHA!!!!!)

That bike looks good BTW, JT .... nice job!

Might be a bit later for this, but check an auto parts store for a spray called NightShades.  It's meant to tint tail lights on a car, so it is formulated for plastic.  I've never used it on a model before, but I have used it on an old car I used to have.  Worked good.  Most tail lights that night shades is used on are made from polycarbonate(lexan) so not sure how well it would do on styrene.  I plan to test it one of these days.  Also you can get spray on window tinting as well.  Can be a bit tough to find as it's illegal in most states, because the idiots who make the laws have this insane idea that you can't regulate thickness or consistancy with a spray.  We as model builders KNOW that you can.

Ah well, that's what I get for being so tired.  Snicker.  Although the spray on window tinting is something I haven't seen mentioned yet.  Now that I think about it though I do remember trying some nightshades on a model car window, and the results were less then stellar.  HArd to explain what the result was but it wasn't pretty.  Someone else might have better luck though.
