Super Bee... Done...
Posted by Brizio on Sunday, January 24, 2010 9:08 AM

I just start to play with this Monogram kit, about a Super Bee...

I scratch built the steering wheels, as you can see on the second pics. I think it
looks more realistic. Will see when it is painted... :)

It is made in 15 parts, need to add the turn signial and key knob... :)

Thank you For looking!

Looks great! Of course, you're setting a high standard for the rest of the Bee. Looking forward to the build!

So long folks!

Thank you Bgrigg, I like to add some details. Just you know, it would be little different from a normal Super Bee, not only because of details. But... You'll see... :D

Can't wait to see some more progress. My grandfather said that he used to own a 1969 Super Bee.

I hope this week to make some progress with it... At least paint it...

Cool that you grandfather owned one! With a Hemi or the Six pack? I need to tell you that mine will be little different then a stock Super Bee...:)

Cool work on the steering wheel, Brizio--just promise me that you're not going to use any awful low-profile "DONK'S"-style tires, or big, goofy, flashy rims?

Nothing ruins the look of a muscle car more than those kinds of modifications!!

Don't worry about that!I hate too those kind of wheels, on all the cars, not only muscle... :)

I'll use some steel rims, with stock tires. That I'm having difficult to find, but I'll think to use a combination of two Jeep rims.

Soon I'll take some pics. :)

Made some progress... A lot of work to put the 440 Hemi under the hood, with two turbocharger. Before I scratch build a fuel injection system for the engine, and after I made the turbos, and all what they need... I think it fit great on it...

Before all, I painted the car, in gold... Looks not to bad... Different... Smile

Soon I hope to finish it, the "big' work its done! Smile

What do you think?

The Turbos idea, was because I love turbo engine, the first car I used was turbo... Also I was bored to see V8 models with carbs and supercharger only... :-)

Soon some more pics...

Kudos to you for your originality and imagination on this unique build!

Now that the Blown Mower it is done, I have some time to share with the T-Bee... I will add to it a trailer, here a mock-up of it.
The chassis it is almost done, need springs, some electrical cable, lights... etc... The rims are from a Jeep Willys, but the tires I have no idea from where they came out...  :D

Little step by little step, I finished also this one... :)
The first thing you will notice is that the roof its gone. Interior modified, scratch-built the trailer and others things on the engine compartment, guns, guitar, horns, etc....
Some pics...

New interior, the gas and brake pedal are shaped like horses shoe.

Door handle.

Front view...

The twin turbo 440...

Rear view...

The horse...

Now (for whom followed the WIP) you know the brooms purpose...  :P You can also see the horse shoe tail light shaped... :)

For some models I like to have a specific box for it. For carry it around and also because I have't a furniture/display... So my models goes in a box... They came in a box, and go in a box... The circle of life... :)

That's really cool! The horns on the hood remind me of Boss Hogg!Yes

I don't know how comfortable I would be driving that with a rifle pointed at the back of my head, though!Big Smile
