I was able to remove the battery cage, without ruin too much this piece...

And here painted like a piece of wood, with two new support.

I try to make it more real as  I can, above all trying to remove all the errors that it has... :( It is a lot of work involved, in assemble and disassemble it before paint and the final assemble... But it is fun!!! :)

I don't know how big it will be, I'm not there yet! :) The chassis is long 45cm, and the widest part (back) almost 12cm. A tire diameter is 9,5cm... :) I hope those helps for have an idea. :)

These Pocher cars are 1/8 scale, so they're pretty big (and heavy- lots of metal parts.)  They are approximately 18 inches long.

By the way, nice work, Brizio!  I didn't paint mine, except for a few details, but now I wish I had!  You are making a big improvement throughout the model.

I was looking a the body, and some pics from 1/1 Alfas, and something was different... Until I tried the body-firewall-chassis...
Watch this pics...


And now watch the real car... (this is the Touring model, it has the same body of the one I'm building, the only difference is the wing on the back and two spare tires.


The air vent on the real car are much closer to the door than the model I have. So, I'm thinking to cut the body... This also will help to have the firewall in the correct position. Now it stay under the cockpit, instead to in front of it. :)

It looks great so far. My wife bought me a Pocher 1930's Mercedes two door tourer in 1988 and it's half done, so perhaps seeing this will spur me on to finish mine! Keep up the good work and look forward to further pics.

I think to build it as a "chassis display" for now. And slowly build the body. :)
