Progress?

I have had very little progress and even less time to post it.  I hope to have an update posted soon though.

Man do I ever get that one Joe! I post when I'm able alot of times as well especially now after my wife's recovery. I don't always have the time I used to -to post as well as to build like I used to. It's all good , just a priority shift.

When I do have time it seems I have very little enthusiasm lately.  Not sure what is going on.

We have a rolling chassis.  The engine is now installed as well.

Next is to mate the body to the chassis.

Looks good Joe, one suggestion, spark plug wires do not come out from the distributor like a daddy long legs, their own weight will cause droop. They should come off the distributor, and then run them along the valve covers to each spark plug. Here is a pic of a 66 Mustang engine. I dont mean it as a criticizm, just want to help you make it as realistic as possible.

Like Lee said it all looks really good so far and he has a point with the plug wires. I use colored wire from Lex's Scale Modeling for the wires as I can shape them any way I want without risking peeling the paint off and this stuff is available in all kinds of colors.

Guys thank you.  I do really appreciate your input and information.  For me and this build I am just looking to fill the void as well as play a bit with shiney things.  I will however file the information away for the future.

All told it turned out much better than the first time I did up this kit.  

Next up will be a couple of things that will test me to no end.

That turned out really good Joe! I'm looking forward to your next trip down the automotive road. I have alot of fun with this stuff and find it hard to go back to building planes.
