Building the perfect model---just not quite yet
Mounted up the cab and bed to the frame and added a master cylinder, fender wells ,steering shaft as well as the radiator... shelby gt500 wallpaper
Installed the exhaust system..
That is cool a GMC!
Even better!
Thanks,
John
Thanks!not sure!
Are you going to do something like this?
Bed looks great!
I have some walnut veneer that I thought would be good for the truck bed.So I got my T square and triangle and cut the veneer into strips.Attached them with CA and will finish them with gloss Minwax Polycyclic .
Installed the engine and had to make a long driveshaft!
Clear blue over the steering wheel thus far!
My imagination is seeing Tamiya clear blue over that chrome body. Or something.
Went with a brown interior,an interesting feature of this kit is that the front bench seat is hinged to fold forward.I guess to store things or to have access to the fuel tank should a leak or sending unit issue arrise..
Best get out your Foster Grant sunglasses !
Boy I would hate to follow that guy down the highway on a bright sunny day!
Mocking up the the body to check for stance,it has the lowered look I was aiming for..
Instead of a V-8,I decided to use a straight 6 engine . dollface twisted metal
Updates to follow!
I too am intrigued.
Might be a surprise or two!
I'm not quite getting where you're headed with this but I'll be watching and find out. Build on !
Installed the differential and front axle.
Chromed up!
