All the 60's, 70's, 80's F1 cars in 1/20th by Tamiya (apart from the few already done!)

In 1/24th:

Maxda RX3 4 door, Datsun 1200 4 door so I can produce our first 2 rally cars.

Race versions of the Falcon GTHO phase 2 & 3, Torana XU1 (I know the're available in various diecast scales)

1/24 Toyota Nascar

1/24 1970-73 Datsun 510

1/24 1991 Honda Civic Si

Preferably all made by Tamiya except maybe the Nascar kits which could be Revell.

(I know I could think of at least a few more ...)

That would have to be a 1971 Ford GT HO Phase III, which was (in 1971) the world's fastest 4 door production car.

Or....a 1978 Ford XC Cobra.....

I'm not particularly a Ford fan.....it's just that these cars were tough.

I'd like to see my current car (2000 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi) or my old 1976 Jeep Cherokee Chief...That was a pretty cool ride...

I'd also like to see a series of "NASCAR Wrecks" kind of like the NAPA commercial where that knucklehead brings in Michael Waltrip's destroyed racecars!!! LOL Laugh [(-D]

1969 Fairlane/Torino hardtop (not fastback), 1973 Gran Torino/Sport hardtop (not fastback), 1968 Ford pickup (F100), 1977 Ford pickup (F250), 1990 Ford pickup (F150), 1978 Maverick 4-door, 1989 Cougar, 1984 T-Bird, 1978 Toyota SR5 pickup, 1979 Chrysler Newport 4-door, 1974 Chevy Nova, 1979 Mercury Capri.....just to name a few, lol

Oddball selections, I'm sure, but these are some of the vehicles I've owned over the years.  Always thought it would be cool to have a collection of them.  So far I've only found four others for my stash.  If anyone would happen to run across kits that could build any of these, let me know!!

in 1966 & 1967 you could buy a four door hemi in the Dodge. I've seen two of them, and believe it or not both were painted red. These cars would run close to 160mph.

That's the one but actually it wasn't the fastest, that's a marketing myth built up over the years. Forgotten about the XC Cobra but another good choice and how about Geohagan's E49 Charger

That would be cool.  Then I could build Doc Hudson in his racing colors!  A great companion for King! Laugh [(-D]  I do have plans to build Darrell Cartrip & Mario Andretti from the movie as well.

I'd actually like to see a kit of my old car, an '86 (IIRC) Ford Escort EXP hatchback.  I loved that little car. Smile [:)]

I would like to see mainstream kits of:

1. Andretti's Lotus 79. After all, he is 1 of only 2 American F1 Champs, and the 79 is one of the most beautiful F1 cars.

2. A Cobra Daytona coupe.

3. Gurney's Eagle F1 car would also be nice.

4. NASCAR COT with window/door frames for each manufacturer (isn't the rest of the body the same for all of them?).

I think Revell made a first Gen Probe. I can't remember the year though.

I would like to have a second Gen Ford Probe ('93-'97). Goofy name, but it was my first car and I love the lines on it.

AHA!

As it turns out, the Probe available in kit form is a 1/25 kit by AMT. It is a Probe GT, either an '89 or '90  depending on the website.

I'm still waiting for a model of my current vehicle: a Chevy HHR.

I can't find it in kit, die-cast or even Matchbox format.  They have everything for the PT Cruiser and the Chevy SSR, but the HHR has been grossly overlooked.

I'll second the HHR, but the panel version is what I drive.  It hauls several of my rc boats and gear to the lake nicely.

AMT made a Taurus SHO kit back in 89 or 90. I built a couple. I believe they can be still be found on EBay.

I'm building 1/12 scale model cars since 30 years now, later in 1993 I discovered the Tamiya Caterham, the best kit ever made in my thinking. I built more than 13 kits with lots of variants and would lie to see the new Caterham Superlight or an old Lotus seven from Tamiya ( 1/12 of course)
