Deafpanzer thanks for the comments, i dont think they even noticed it was there let alone placed. I do think some of these larger shows are a bit suspect when it comes to comps. Take this for instance, my mate entered a class with a large sea plane and was congradulated by a man that was looking at the models next to us. He said oh well done on getting Bronze. I was the judge he said on this category, I got gold  he said. Work that out.

Manny thanks for lookin in mate and nice to hear from you bud. Sorry i havnt posted up the rest of the painting progress on this one but it is soon to be published so untill i know what pics they are using i cant post them up. Thought you all deserved a sneak preview though. Your praise is tooooooooooo kind my friend.Embarrassed

Shame it didn't place, but it's sure one beautiful painting job. Everyone mentioned the face, which IS excellent, but I have to say those worn leather straps are even more fantastic to my eyes. I can sense their cool leathering texture with your paint job. Excellent!

This is a great looking bust. Nice job, you could always renenter it in another show, I'm sure their will be those who see the work as we do.
