Yeah, that turned out right.

I can feel the "been outside sweating" of it to where I almost want a shower Smile

Slack in the sling is just right, too.

The slack in the claymore bag strap is so nice.

The dogtag on the boot is a nice touch in the sculpt, although they were typically under the laces.  And the muddiness is just right.

This would be an interesting pose to render as a 3d print rather than cast from a mould.  Som slack in the straps could be rendered that way.  That would be the only way I could see to imrpove on this build.

Well done Pawel.

Est.1961 - thanks a lot! Glad you like it and good to know this thread was entertaining!

Cap'n - Thank you very much! You helped me a lot on this one and your photos on this thread will make it a valuable reference for modellers attempting similar subjects in the future.

Have a nice day!

Excellent work Pawel. It all came together well. I'm waiting for that M79 to go "BLOOP!"

He turned out fantastic Pawel!!! Great job all around but I really love how you worked the mud into his pants!

Great work as always Pawel. The playing cards may be a bit theatrical or not. Also most grunt's went in the field with full size packs of cigs carried in those cute little plastic slip cases.

A number Army Viet Nam scans from hundreds yet to be done:
