Letsee, my interests include, Gundam, Macross, Five Star Stories, Votoms, Dougram, Dorvack, Crusher Joe, Gasaraki, Patlabor, and Dragonar.

Mind you, I have little idea of what the shows are about, I just like building the models.

Regardless or how old the thread is, there's still interest!

Let's see, I'm pretty modest in my small (tiny) collection, only a Macross VF-1A Super Valkyrie (Hasegawa), HG Wing Zero Custom, and a 1/144 Blitz Gundam. The blitz will be the first one I build, then the Wing, then the Valkyrie. I want to do the VF justice, but I can't at my current skill level. That's why I purchased a few 1/72 Hasegawa A/C to build before starting on it! ^ ^

Well I am a huge Gundam SEED/DESTINY fan.. So I mainly only do kits from this series in all grades... Although I have done one Zaku in 1/100 scale that I customed a little...Here are a few of my 1/100 Gundams.. My latest edition is my new Red Frame... I have changed his stance since these pics were taken, and now have him in a Samurai stance!..

Second one 1/100..

Force Impulse 1/100..

Aile Strike 1/100...

Custom Zaku 1/100.. I have always hated the chunky hoses on the old Zakus..

I was actually a late starter into Gundams, but as I live in Japan, the addiction becomes way too great when I can get most kits on discount.. Not a shop here that doesnt have Gundam.. Its a masive thing here.. You know it must be as when I stand looking at the shelves for Gundam, and you are joined by about 10 other Japanese married aged men looking at what you are looking at.. Although being a foreigner, they think its cool that I am interested! I have many more pics of my collection....

Griever, yes it is the MG version of the Zaku.. Its an older kit, but cool all the same.. I just changed the color of the hoses, and actually changed the hoses themselves.. I hate yellow and green together, and I also dont like the funky beads that you have to put on the hoses.. So I made mine a little custom to the original.. I also changed most of the yellow to white.. And colored the hoses black.. I did this, just to give it an updated look...

I just wished they did a few of the Gins in 1/100.. I have the HG 1/144 Mobile CGUE, and he is an awsom design... I also have the HG 1/144 Yellow Mobile Ginn, and 1/144 Mobile suit GuAIZ... And lastly the 1/144 Mobile Dinn... As for my other Gundams.. I have...
1/100 Red Frame
1/100 Force Impulse
1/100 Aile Strike Gundam
1/100 Blitz Gundam

HG 1/144 Dreadnaought
HG 1/144 Aile Strike Gundam
HG 1/144 Freedom Gundam
HG 1/144 Rogue Strike +IWSP
1/144 M1 Astray
1/144 Force Impulse
1/144 Green Zaku Warrior (Destiny)
1/144 Gunner Zaku Warrior (Destiny)

I have a site with pics.. But will update this afternoon sometime.. Would love to share storries with anyone into Gundam modelling!

I think thats the great part about it.. I have really only seen some of SEED, and now DESTINY, so I have been getting those kits.. When I first started, I was only interested in cool looking Gundams like the Aile Strike, and the Force Impulse.. But now I am really getting into some of the new Zaku Warriors, and the Ginns.. I really like 1/100 scale, but my fave model at the momment is the HG 1/144 Mobile CGUE.. It is the most awsom design.. I have really fallen in love with that design.. I have also just completed the HG 1/144 Miguel Mobile Ginn yellow suit this afternoon.. They look great together!..

Actually I'm looking for Star Blazer models large scale versions.   I'm in NC but I haven't been able to find any Yamato/ Argo's online.

Let me know I would like to purchase a large scale kit of the Star Blazers Yamato (Argo) in the next month or so.

Email:   Shocker88@triad.rr.com

Thanks,
Greg

Hey there, I'm pretty new to gundam modelling. So far i have a 1/100 tallgeese III, which I still have to paint. I'm not really a fan of gundam seed but I'm planning on getting a Astray Red Frame 1/100.

I'm one of those people who prefer the old UC.
I watched the original kodousenshi gundam on telly way back and since watched Z, ZZ, and plus Char 's CA. I did glanced other Gundam series but none of them could hold my interest so I didn't bother with Seed and others...  You probably can tell by kits I built. I only built UC models and usually OYW and GW era.

Hey, i'm mainly in the "Autos" and "Aircraft" sections but i've been into anime for ages. I'm a big mech fan, although recently, I haven't done much concerning anime DVDs or models. I have a horde of stuff I can take a picture of and post soon ... now let's see if I can find it all ...

This is all I could find :o( Gotta start digging through boxes ... blah.

Hi, I've only built Gundam models so far.  And My MG HIZack is the first I've painted.  I also have built the MG Gouf and the MG Wing Gundam Zero.  I have HG Deathscythe Hell, Providence Gundam (I think thats the name, the one with all those dragoons on the circular thing on its back from Seed), and one other I don know the name of.  I'm currently working on an MG Zephryanthes, The HG Gundam ZZ and Zaku Concert edition, and the SD Grappler Gouf and one of the Musha ones.  Never seen any other Mecha models before till last weekend when I went to a new store by me and they had models from Armored Core and some others.  It was pretty cool.

If at first you do succeed, try to hide your astonishment.

I'm mostly interested in building Macross/Robotech stuff but love all anime. Especilly the Sci-fi Mecha genre.

I still have an old Valkyrie VF-1J that I built when I was a kid in gerwalk mode. I think it is 1/144 scale. Not painted but decals applied. I have been considering rebuilding it once I can figure out how to do that without breaking it. I am missing the arms though so it will have to be an armless version. I'll post a picture in the near future.

Lol...my first model getting back into the hobby was Hasegawa's VF-1S that I painted in a custom color.

Its not much, but here's my current inventory for this genre:

Macross - HAS VF-1S, HAS YF-19 (want another one), can't wait to see them do a model of the VF-25 from Macross Frontier.

Gundam - 1/100 HG Wing Gundam (gone mia, I need to replace), 1/100 MG GP-01Fb (waiting to work on this)

That big 1/350th Yamato is about 500.00 or more and from what little I have seen of it and talked to the shop it was in, it's more like a toy than a model.

I am not even going to start on how many gundam kits I have completed or have in the works, because the list is too darn long and I live in Japan right now. But on the other hand i've poked around the forums on this site and some of you are really good at this stuff. It makes me wat to finish my MG Zeta Ver. 2.0

BTW- puma_adder@hotmail.com always looking for someone to talk gundam with so send a shout my way any time.

Some people spend their whole lives wondering if they made a difference. Gundams don't have that problem.
