You sir, are a nut. But I mean that in a good way. And I want to thank you for the great presentation, it is very entertaining.   Propeller

Thank you!

I can relate to that.

It's good to know I'm in good company.

I tend to think it's good to put on a bit of a show.

You're completely GONE, man, lol----what a cool project! It's great to break up the pattern of "normal" builds with something off the wall from time to time. A great way to NOT let modeling become boring or hum-drum!

Two BIG Thumbs-up, STeve!!!

Thanks Karl,

Yes (gone from the site a lot here recently too) and besides being on my bucket list I just HAD to do something different.

I'll be doing the C57-D next and hopefully finishing my VK45.02 VORNE - but who knows when.

It's ingenuity like yours that will help keep our planet safe when our would-be alien overlords show up.

Seriously, that may be the coolest use of an ashtray I've ever seen. Well done!

Yeah, I really hate to see an ashtray with such potential go to waste.

I've looked everywhere.... http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn281/joenest/smiley_search.gif I mean really, every where and I can't find another one like this.

I'd really like to find a 12" version.

Okay Bill I get it now......  seems I remember reading about that.

I looked up the term and thought you were referring to Ecstasy pills.

Hi Steve Smile

The  'blue Nikes ' is a reference to  the ' Heaven's Gate' cult which committed mass suicide waiting for the Mother ship to come. The report I remembered said they were all dressed identically including wearing blue Nikes. Later references say the Nikes were black and white.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heaven's_Gate_(religious_group)   interesting (yet morbid) reading.

Cool model man ;-)

Great to hear from you ! Hope all is well ;-)

yer old pal,

Bill

Is that C-57D kit the newer, smaller scale version or the 1/72 scale version?

We could use some video of the functioning lights.

http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h8/lilsully02071981/smiley-creator.png So could I ...........

http://www.pashnit.com/forum/images/smilies/duh.gif  being that it's a multidimensional stealth craft, I couldn't get a video to work in that wave length. My crude 'ol wrenchcam could only get single shots.....
