I decide on 1/1400th scale for the Ranger. Works out perfectly with some 5/32" thick styrene I have for the mid-section. I blew up the plans until they were the correct size, I can measrure right off of them to cut my pieces. Hopefully start it this week. The only hurdle is the warp engines.
I did manage to finish puttying the carrier and try to re-fit the clear plexiglass rod/stand. just need to tweak the pylons before gluing on the warp engines and re-priming. Then I'll take more pics.

So, do you think I can sneak my 1400th scale Ranger into the game as a super dreadnought...........? Big Smile [:D]

Sure you can as long as you don't mind the new Federation secret super weapon that bears more than a passing resemblance to a claw hammer!

That depends on how many acres of cleared land you have access to, and deep pockets are a requirement too!

When I was a little nipper I thought, when I grow up I'm going to build a 1:1 Millenium Falcon. To my regret I haven't yet! Tongue [:P]

I'm not sure about the intercooler Mike. I'm still looking forward to checking out you results. How are the miniatures coming along?
