Yeah, never noticed it till a friend was talking about it. He had some kit that had an option to build either the original or the 'ESB' version.

Nice work there masking off the windows. Forgot just how many the Falcon actually had!!

Like I mentioned, I too had no idea until a little research turned up this information regarding the Falcons tricycle landing gear.  Thank you Gamera for your support and kind words on my canopy/cannon masking.   This is all thanks to Members like you of whom supported me in my WWII aircraft builds.

Pre-shading for the purpose of weathering.  Final coat of light gray, Dolphin gray, and white mixture to be applied next.

Oh, very cool! The pre-shading really turned out nice. SW always look better a little dirty and dinged up!

I've always had trouble breaking up large painted surfaces. You make it look so easy, Toshi.

Looking good. Yes

Good progress on this one so far Tosh and Ezra! A few years back I acquired a Falcon kit and picked up a Haynes Shop Manual for the Falcon. Lots of information in that thing.

I saw a Haynes Shop Manual as well.  Those are awesome.  I rebuilt a Mercury straight six from a Haynes.  Thank you for the support.

Here is the cut-away Millenium Falcon with the top area painted red as an outline to enhance the cut-away.  I’ve seen this technique dome with scratch built cut-away’s.  An example would be like a old school Monogram B-24 Liberator or a B-17 Flying Fortress 1/48.  Thank you fellow forum members for your support.
