Would love to have a copy in resin. Hey would that help with the site?

Dan I am pretty sure you could make the Lil Nells (I and II) since they appear simple in shape compared with your projects seen here. Any chances on making those and casting it?
I as I said, casting it and making them available would help Masao's web site?

I don't think that the Starfleet Museum would be helped by selling kits, because Bernd, the owner of the Ex Astris parent site, wants to keep the site strictly noncommercial to escape the wrath of Paramount lawyers. But I know my life would be much improved by by having models of Penguin and Puffin sitting on my desk! If you do cast and sell these, you have my blessing (just send me one)!

Seeing the great job you've done on this makes me very happy! Are these the final pics? (I downloaded the larger ones at Scalehobby). Can I post them in the museum?

What's next for Boybuddha? (minotaur, minotaur, minotaur...)

Dan that is just breath taking! The model is awesome. The scene is action packed. Are you still thinking about a site showcasing the FSM Sci-Fi builds? If so you should use that model as the site center piece.

This has been my favorite scratchbuild project so far. The decals were scanned by my friend Steve Simmons and he did an amazing job. I am very proud of this one! I have have posting the ships on both ARC and Starship Modeler. Masao , I'd be honored for you to use these pictures! Where do you have the photos placed on the Museum website? I guess I might have to take a look and see what is next on the agenda...Minotaur, Avenger, Nell....hmmmmm heee heee heee

The pictures of Puffin haven't been posted yet. I actually don't handle any of the posting for "my own" site: I send all the artwork and text to Bernd, who owns the site and the parent site (Ex Astris Scientia), and he formats them and uploads them. He waits until enough material has accumulated, then updates at one time. Should be up soon, though.

That is superb looking. Going back to the early post about contouring. With sandpaper, how did you get everything to look even? I imagine you used a contouring gauge but I tried a contouring gauge once and even on wood the contours never matched. Yours looks so perfect porpotionately it looks like it was turned on a lathe or something along that line. This is were video clinics wuld help outgreatly. Very nice job.

Thanks, Snoopy, on this one I used a paper template for the profile and planform view and used those to saw out my foam pieces. I did square up all the pieces on a large disk sander before sanding. But the rest was done by eye...no contour gauges or other templates. I guess I got lucky!
