Dan,

I have been watching your progess and have to say wow and fantastic. I was wondering how did you get such a smooth flowing wings and fuselage. Did you use sand paper on the foam or did you mostly use a hot wire cutter? Curious to know how it went from block to rounded edges and looking very even. The prime by itself looks awesome. I can't wait to see the full painted version.

I have a draw full of ST part that I've been wanting to built with, but i can never come up with a design that hasn't already been thought of. This is really thinking outside the box. Nicely done son, nicely done.

Groovy! Dan if you stopped right now and stood it on it's tail on a nice polished hard wood base, you'd have a beautiful work of art! I can't wait to see it painted. I really love that dorsal shot. Sleek and deadly looking like a killer whale. Cool [8D]

Star Trek Scratchbuild Penguin Progress

Here is the start of my second ST scratchbuild project designed by Masao Okasaki. This is the block form before contouring and shaping. I used 1/8" dia. roll pins to locate the blocks together. I will shape each piece separately before bonding.
