Lookin' good, fellas! Both the drawings and the model itself. Not sure if I'll get one or not at this time, but might just to be a completist. Not that I don't like the design, just that I'm staring the whole "Not Enough Display Space" issue in the face....

Looks good Woody. Don't forget about the "short haul" cargo guys. Depending on your time frame, she could've been used by your typical fly-by-night cargo outfits. That opens a whole new arena as far as marking goes. Something along the lines of Flying Tigers, UPS or FedEx would give even more options (and sales of the ship). And don't forget that the military has a fondness for "off the shelf" hardware as well. The possibilities here are endless!! Let me know when you get production started, and, depending on price, I could probably use a few of these.

I'll more than likely be staying away from markings of real world companies for the starliner. I do like the idea of a Starfleet marked vessel, maybe a science vessel or a troop carrier? I've been busy sculpting the bottom tonight. It's going pretty good.

That would make for one cool troop carrier. I look forward to more pics Woody.

I was just using those as an example. There are also the Tourist companies that would love a ship like that. Militarily you have cargo, training, covert operations (ala the CIAs Air America) VIP transport and supply ship. Then there are the rich idiots who view something like this as a status symbol (my RV is bigger than yours).

In general I think we are on the same page. I want markings for a commercial liner(Risa Starlines?), a Federation One, and a Vulcan ship(diplomatic or science vessel?). The one ship of the three that I want to build is the Federation One. I've seen several ships like this but they were for the most part light or unarmed Starfleet military ships. I like this ship as a F1 for two reasons. The first is that it is a non-combat vessel. The second reason is that it is from a UFP member world besides Earth.

I've made great progress today! I have the rest of the hull shaped and I've cut out the pieces for the dorsal spine.

No I am not. I'll lease the masters so somebody else can market the finished kit.
