The guys on the auto modeling site I go to tell me there is this ribbon/thread in the arts and crafts stores that looks like braided hose. That might look sweet in the damaged area.

Oh the carnage! I like the hydrolic rames in the shoulder and forarms. This is gonna be good. I also like the screen you placed in the left chest vent area.

some minor update on Gundam - I cut off waste for better pose and in the process of more substantioanl damage on its right chest armour panel...

I need some advise what's the best way to simulate the battle damage with my Gundam diorama...

Below are the progress picture of the models and the bottom two are the latest one though I'm not satisfied with the result... (all done in the space of 3 days at night with just knife and cutter as I don't have my tools with me atm)





















And latest shots...




Gundam's shoulder damage is now more in line with the techincal drawing or so I think... think of it as the outer plate of shoulder socket module blown away with the inner pipes exposed... they are basically four rods connected to make square box shape module  according to the spec...
what do you think...

I'm still working on the endo/exoskeleton parts on both Gundam and Zaku...
