scaled to 1/72 would mean that your mon cal. cruiser would be about 25 metres long!! that's alot of glue!

scaled down to 1/800 would be more like it, even though it would be put of proportion, it would still be awesome ( and be able to fit in a room!!)

TD4438,

I know " Backlot Studios" made a resin tie bomber, I tried to contact them, and better yet buy one but never got any response. You can see it on Starshipmodeler.com , full review, and completed model. I think it was in 1/32 scale.

Hi everyone,

What about the capital ships scaled down so that they can carry one or two fighters overall?

hey niktoo, how did you do those status-bars in youre signature?

They look kewl, and i want them! is it some kind of script or did you simply make a pic in photoshop?

thnx, sponder.

Hi, yes, they're just images created in Photoshop. Did a basic gradient and then just deleted part of it and made ten of it, from 10% to 100%. As and when a model progresses I go into my profile and change the image.

If you look at the properties of the bar you can then just copy the image URL to 10, 20, etc., and save them down. Feel free, happy to share. :)

Personally I'd like to see them do a kit of  one of those big Calamar cruisers from Return of the Jedi.

I simply didnt get the Slave one, and the Millennium Falcon because I had built them with the kits available..

But  a decent Star Destroyer....... Then, there is a kit I would be interested in!
Fine Molds would do it justice!

Thats okay Chris, we understand, so  i think they are sstalling and getting ready to unveil a new kit and in the mean time they are doing this to milk us of our money and just when you think your wallet is save, Bam! they whip out Anikins eta 2!

Just a thought..

Yes, and I am a big enough man to say that I was wrong.. I dont know why I believed it.. But I heard a little rumour here in Japan about a Starfighter.. Considering they had the molds, a Slave 1 was way too obvious.. And with FM's great record of always surprising us, I simply felt that it would never be a re-tooling of something?

Anyways...

Yup, it's Boba's Slave I. They had it on display next to Jango's at the show. Nice!

If only they'd produce a 1/72 Naboo Royal Starship... has anything ever looked more slippery?

That is a great-looking ship, indeed!

I'll be going to the Shizuoka Hobby Show next month, so hopefully there'll be some official info announced there. If not, I'll grill Mr. Suzuki and the FineMolds boys about it until they crack!

How do you know that? or is it just wonderful wishful thinking? Not saying that I wouldn't want one as well.

I obviously didn't mean a SD in 1/72 scale.Oops [oops]

I would love to see capital ships produced in a smaller scale however.
