Mr R-H
Your work is impressive and the fact that it is scratchbuilt from PAPER makes me keep hitting my space bar with my jaw. I hipe the new owner will give the rest of the ship (island/airwing) the justice they deserve. My father was the art director for the Lucky Bag (the Naval Academy yearbook) in 1959 and he themed the book that year with the building of the Forrestal (CV-59) so he and therefore I have a soft spot in my heart for Forrestal. I did a report in grade school about the great fire aboard her. I have a 1/1200 scale dio of the experiment where they did flight ops with a C-130 on the Forrestal. The films of that were amazing. If the Big-E comes out as well as these, I can't wait to see the pics. Thank you for your inspiration!
