I was just looking and realising that you have actually made wheel wells and what looks like a hollowed cockpit for the F-14, are you planning to add detail there too?

Thank you friends. I am thinking about what will be the next plane. Probably it will be the Prowler. ;-)

Jorge--

You are a master at this.  Here I've been sweating in my own project over how to scratchbuild a compound curve, and you dash off a freakin' F-14!  A glass of wine with you, sir!

Dear friends, i think it's time to change a little bit, and focus in the airwing of the carrier. I have decided to start working on my favourite plane, the F-14. Currently i am working in a master for, later, make as much resin copies as i need. I know that in 2003 she did not embark any f-14, but i can't resist the tentation to add some of these planes on her.

here is the construction process of the master.

the plane is not finished yet, but it only needs a few details more  :thumbs_up_1: Thanks for viewing

Hello friends. Back at home again after a short holidays, i continue the construction of this never ending model :heh: :heh: . First of all, i have placed some decals and some ítems in the port wall of the hangar deck , in the area of elevator number four. Here with the hangar lights on After that, we continue to the stern, the big doors of elevator number four and more decals. Stern wall of the hangar deck compartments. Compartments glued to the wall. Some ítems like these ;D And finally, the starboard wall that supports the fierwall doors between hangars two and three. This is all for the moment. Thank you very much for viewing. Jorge

The youtube video really shows the lights up brilliantly, it's really a masterpiece, just out of curiosity, how long has your build taken you to get to this point? I really love the level of detail in this. Also do you plan to make any other models like this when you finish this one?

To say I'm in awe of this Nimitz does not do it justice.

Thank you very much for your comments Tankerbuilder. I use your method of construction friend. I think that it is the best method and the one that offers the best results.

Thanks Pawel. No problem seeing the decals through the elevators. The hangar bay will have its own lights and i am going to install two or three micro cameras inside the hangar.

Hello! Those decals are a very interesting touch. I hope you will be able to see enough of them through the elevators. Good luck with your build and have a nice day!

Hi friends. Now, when summer arrives it is difficult to find enough time to keep working on the ship. Anyway, i have found that time and i have been working in the hangar. I have finished the decals for the whole hangar, and i will start to fit them. Here are the firewall doors between hangar zones 2 and 3 And the first decals fitted in place That´s all for the moment. Thanks for viewing

Jaguar--

This is such outstanding work.  I cannot wait to watch your further progress here.  I'm flabbergasted at the weathering job you did on the flight deck, both from the research and the execution.  I'd love to hear more about your process here if you feel like sharing.

Bravo!

Jaguar1969,

Based on what you've documented of your build so far I can't imagine selling it to a museum for less than 25,000 USD! Of course I have no idea if you really are going to sell it or not, nor do I have any clue if any naval/ship museum would want it or be willing to pay so much, but it sure looks like it's worth it to me so farBig Smile.

Good morning Sirs. I keep working on the flight deck, finishing the lighting proccess. The flight deck is almost finished. I have to put some order under the flight deck refering to the great amount of wires. Well, there are some shots of the flight deck on both sides. Finally, a video of the lights working https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQn8hI2imdI&feature=youtu.be Thank you very much for viewing
