Beautifully done ! If I can do half that well on the 5 1/200's I have, then I'll be happy with that.

Hi, Steve, I've just found this thread and read through it - what a treat!  An excellent build, superb PE work (I'm scared of the stuff, myself!), and beautifully painted and presented.  I have a part-built KGV in 1/350, hiding in its box at the back of the stash.  Hmmmm...

Nice tip find, too, by the wayBig Smile

Vell, Zaphod's just zis guy, you know?

Ah!

 The TIP! Wonderful place, that, sometimes! Last time I hit one was at a mall. It was full of useable Lexan for cases! Time before Ugh!

  You have done her proud! Oh, Before I forget, and no disrespect to the just finished ship, BUT, what riverboat is that on the Bottom right? I scratchbuild those in H.O. ( 1/87) scale to use up plastic and P.E.Leftovers!

Hi Bill;

 To give a general American answer it's the Trash Bin-Dumpster style. Remember, outside the Good Ole U.S.of A. they are described by how they are emptied! So it's a " Tip"

Thanks.  On submarines, we had Trash Disposal Units, or TDUs.

what an awesome display! A real conversation starter for sure.

In the pattern: Scale Shipyard's 1/48 Balao Class Sub! leaning out the list...NOT! Ha, added to it again - Viper MkVii, 1/32 THUD & F-15J plus a weekend madness build!
