HMS Alert by Shipyard. This is a new experience, though I did make buildings for my n-scale rr out of cereal box cardboard. I got the entire kit, 1/72 scale. The model will be about 26 inches lengthwise.

Shipyard has some interesting kits, they are in Poland, but in the US, Ages of Sails sells their products.

They also have a 1/96 M\HMS kit but I figure that tha larger scale will be easier to work.

Do you do paper ship models?

I saw your rebuild of the lobster boat! It was a great rebuild. Not putting your build on the bar is a good idea. It only takes a Guiness or two to make some folks clumsy!

I threw the wifey out of my build area after putting the lock on the door so she can't steal the things I loot from her sewing kit back. The gals have a lot of useful things to use in those sewing kits!

The main reason she is locked out is that vacuum cleaner she insists on using down there gobbles up dropped parts!

That won't work.  Marriage councelors use vacuums too.

We're approaching out 50th anniversary. Smile

I have one advantage, at almost 80, my hearing is kaput, so I have some hearind aids. While these have the advantage of inproving your hearing, they have one feature no counselor can match...an "on" and "off" switch.

When I first got them, one day, wifey was mad about one thing or another, and was yelling, as wives are wont to do, that's when I discovered the "on"/"off" switch. The reaction was beautiful to behold..."did you turn those off on me!? Don't you ever turn those off on me!" Imagine this being said at a rather high volume! Indifferent

When I am in the cellar modeling, I turn them off too!

Incidentally, my wife is Italian and I'm Irish. It has been an interesting union!
