Photo etched deck for Revell 1/72 VIIc U-boat?

I did wonder after I posted. I went for the nautiluses wooden deck, but I did just find this, I assume its there own site and it seem to be available.

When you go to the page for US orders, there is a number he recommends you text to confirm how long the items will take, they seem to be made to order. But there no date on the site, so I can only assume its still in business.

I'm not 100% certain on the decks. Nautilus have separate decks for each one. This is there US order page. They do look a bit cheaper than the PE decks but not sure if they include everything that's in the PE set. But aside from this thread, I have not heard of Modelbrass before.

Does your Nautilus deck have open slots? I have one for a 1/72 Type II-A and it is not slotted.

EDIT: I take that back!!!!! I opened the pack - help it to light and it IS slotted. Now have looked at the site and can see slots in the examples. So the difference is in balance of parts with brass and cost from my point of view. Since I've never used either I'm shooting in the dark anyway! LOL.

Ye, the one for the Type VII is slotted, and I will defiantly be getting the one for the Type IX. I have not used it yet, but it does look nice. But that PE one looks rather nice as well. Tough choice.

I know!!!! I feel paralyzed.  It seems the PE kits have a lot more to them too.

Which specific # did u get for your VII and/or C41?

There's so many options for these kits, one could get really carried away lol. I also have the Eduard set, WEM set as well as some other pieces, so hopefully I have everything covered.

I had heard about that pressure hull, I recall reading there were fit issues. There is another one that pretty new out by Blue Ridge

I was planning on getting this, but after speaking with PJ on the other thread, I have changed my mind. You can't make out any details once its fitted and the empty look can be got around with a cardboard roll, the short that kitchen tissue is on. I like adding lots of detail but spending that much on something like that seems a bit of a waist. The flood holes are pretty small and it will be dark inside.

The photo looks the same. Maybe they bought the rights to it.  I agree, wasn't sure about this either. I thought I mite use it on VII-C and cardboard (or something like this) for the VII-C41. Assuming I ever quit researching and start building!

LOL, boy do I know that feeling. But there come a point when you have to say enough, and just get on with it. I have spent more on AM for my Type VII than I did on the kit, possibly double, so after changing my mind on the pressure hull, that was it, enough is enough.
