Well here she is rusty and faded. This was all done with crushed up chalk, the fadding didnt pop until i hit it with a coat of flat and wow it looks good. Still have to to put the railings and the areial lines on and the porpellers. But i think its comeing along good.

Looks outstanding! I got one in progress on the table but not painted yet, I'm using the eduard detail set which is slowing me down a bit.

The photo's looks good! What was you lower hull color?
As far as the eduard detail set for this version goes, one could take it or leave it. The sets for the earlier VII-C looks more comprehensive as you can get the full decking for the sub.

Arch The lower hull was painted RLM 74, Upper was RLM 66. All i had left where RLM colors, Luffwafe SubTongue [:P]
