Overture to Der Fleigender Hollander (The Flying Dutchman) - Richard Wagner, the father of Heavy Metal).

Damn near makes me seasick!

Theme music from "The Trap" and "Song of the High Seas" - Ron Goodwin.  Of course if the subject turns to aircraft then "633 Squadron" and "Aces High" by the same composer.

There was a song called "Brandy" by Looking Glass, or how about "Glass of Champagne" by Sailor (OK, it's a long shot......).

Hi

HMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmm, , , no one even mentioned "Columbia the Gem of the Ocean"! ! ! ! !

And not least "American Patrol", now how about also including "Rule Britania"! Of coarse the addition of the Richard Rodgers score does make it an impresive list.

Uh, , , , oh my, , , , "Yellow Submarine" also comes to mind!Big Smile [:D]

Anyone have any favorite songs or anything they want to share for "ship type" songs?

I love "A Salty Dog" by Procol Harum.
"Brandy" is a good one, by Looking Glass.
 "Edmund Fitzgeral" By Gordon Lightfoot.

I know I have forgotten some good ones. Anyone else?
