Did you design and print the stands?  I'd love to get my hands on a set of those.

Beautiful work! I was just at Kennedy Space Center a few weeks ago and got a real good look and lots of photos of the Saturn V on display there.

Spent a little time on the 3rd stage this weekend, but not much. Spent a lot of time with my granddaughter and decorating the house for Christmas

Third Stage Progress.

Adding pieces to the Instrument section over the weekend, and working on the Lunar Module, Service Module, Command Module, and Escape Tower. Need to wrap this up so I can start the 1/12 Mercury Redstone.

Finished the Heat Shield

Onto the Third Stage

Added the insulation to the J-2 Engines.  I also started the Heat Shield.  Got it primed and will paint the top side Red Oxide Primer and the bottom White.

Added some wiring to the Thrust Structure.  More to come.

Second Stage is in progress.  This is the thrust structure and tanks in place, with all the fuel line plumbing ready to install.

Hey Rob, This is a good effort and I'm looking forward to more posts. Mine was OOB but still is an impressive model to build. What a great part of world history! Carry on!

Great layout with the mission patches. My brother solved the space problem of such a long display  by mounting the stages in a plexiglass display case with the display base on the back instead of the bottom, then hanging it on the wall. Are you planning the same thing?

it was an impressive sight seeing the Saturn V layed out like this at the Kennedy Space Center, and staring into the throats of those engines. You can believe it that, according to the guide, the radiated heat from the engines could light your clothes on fire from a quarter of a mile away.
