Forgot to mention ... my wife got a new vacuum cleaner Saturday. It's one of the bagless kind and has a big, clear canister to hold all the dust and dirt. While she was trying it ont (on my room, of course!) I sat there watching and thought to myself, "Yep, there goes that PE seatbelt buckle I lost last month, and there's that wing tip light that disappeared, etc." It's funny how you can see that stuff flying around inside the vacuum cleaner but it is totally invisible on the floor. Of course, I didn't even bother to try and dig it out of the vacuum, it would just have disappeared again. Murphy at work once again!

Jeeez, Ausf. I'll say it again, you armor guys are WEIRD!Big Smile [:D] That is another good one though, thanks for passing it along.

Now, with the exception of Chris here, we airplane guys never lose anything. We always know where everything is, we always have everything in order, everything works perfectly. Then we wake up and realize it was all just a dream!

So THAT'S where Mr Murphy's been, I was wondering, since I hadn't seen or heard from him here "on the job." I guess it's just a matter of time before he comes back this way. Seems like no matter what precautions I take, he finds a way to "borrow" some of my kit's parts. I wonder if there's a pile of model parts right next to all the socks that disappear out of my dryer???

I always have to tell myself "It didn't just get up and walk away" though with 3 kids and a cat in the house, it may have gotten a free ride somewhere.

There were some threads pointed out to me on the armor forum pertaining to lost PE parts that had me howling.

My contention is that the liklihood of losing a part is exponentially proportional to its importance and the difficulty in "Faking" one. You will never lose small parts that can easily be made, but give me one that would be hard to fake and it will be lost forever.

In your case I think it's possible that Mike's California Gremlins may have migrated southeast!

Good luck finding it, like I always tell myself while hunting for something, "It HAS to be here SOMWHERE!"

well josh, i have an alternate plan if it dont show up. all im missing is the exhaust nozzle, the pointy thing on the nose, and the ordinance. i can make the pointy thing from stretched sprue, buy the after market ordinance and nozzle, and i'll be home free. i finally got the cammo scheme close to just right and was on the home stretch too.Disapprove [V]
oh well, i'll live. later.

He does, but usually it's in the guise of one of the cats or one of Claire's kids. It'll turn up soon Chris.
